At approximately 9:55 p.m. on July 29,  officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Kennedy and Roleika Drives in Dartmouth and located a loaded handgun.

At approximately 2:45 a.m. officers located a man suffering from stab wounds near the rear entrance of HRP Headquarters at 1975 Gottingen Street in Halifax.

The suspicious fire has been deemed an arson by HRFES investigators and HRP Forensic Identification Section members. A 40-year-old Dartmouth woman has been charged with arson.

At 6:10 p.m. on July 28, a witness saw two males in a car outside the McDonald's restaurant on Nantucket Avenue in Dartmouth. The passenger in the vehicle stuck his arm out the window and pointed a gun at the front door of the restaurant.
