At 8:47 a.m. on July 25 police received a complaint of graffiti on a building in the 0-30 block of Killkee Gate in Dartmouth.

The graffiti had already been painted over on police arrival, however, we were able to view photos that had been taken prior to its removal. The photos showed graffiti that was derogatory in nature.

We are in the early stages of a preliminary investigation and the matter is being investigated by our General Investigation Section.

Investigators ask that anyone with information about this incident or the identity of the suspect(s) are asked to call police at 902-490-5016.  Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca or using the P3 Tips App.
