On September 3 at 6:10 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a robbery (attempted) at Jungle Jims Restaurant, 189 Chain Lake Drive Halifax.
A caller reported a man attempted to rob him using a bottle as a weapon. The suspect was tackled by the caller and nothing was taken. The caller was not injured. However, the suspect sustained minor non-life-threatening injuries.
Police attended and arrested a 54-year-old man from Harrietsfield. The suspect is held for court and facing charges of Robbery and Breach of Recognizance.
