UPDATE: This work will continue on Monday, Sept. 9.
The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that road construction will take place on Hammonds Plains Road at Kingswood Drive on Friday, Sept. 6.
Crews will be on site from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. During this work there will be lane drops in effect and the traffic signals will be operating as usual.
Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.
