Police make arrest after a break and enter in progress GO#19-154238

On October 29 at approximately 1:06 a.m., a witness reported observing two men attempting to break into a business in the 300 block of Windmill Road, Dartmouth.

Police have a youth and a 37-year-old man in custody after responding to a break and enter in progress. Responding members observed a broken window at the business and at 1:17 a.m. located two suspects on the property. They were taken into custody without incident. Investigators learned the suspects were unable to enter the business and no property was removed.

Both suspects remain in police custody and will appear in Provincial court later today. The youth is facing break and enter and mischief charges. The 37-year-old man is facing break and enter, mischief and possession of house breaking tools charges.
