Police investigate robbery GO#20-19441

On February 11 at approximately 1 a.m., a woman was walking near the 2600 block of Northwood Terrace, Halifax. A man approached her and sprayed a sensory irritant in her face, as she fell to the ground the suspect tried to grab her bag. A witness heard her scream and came out of his residence to assist her. The suspect grabbed her cell phone and fled the area.

The suspect is described to police as a white male, 6’0” tall with a thin build, with a pale gaunt face and short dirty blond hair. He was wearing dark clothes.
