Police investigate robbery GO#20-41080

On April 1 at approximately 7:30 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a robbery at Needs Convenience located at 2616 Robie Street, Halifax. A man had entered the store, demanded money and assaulted the clerk. The suspect then fled on foot with a quantity of cash, cigarettes and lottery tickets. The clerk was not injured, and no weapon was seen.

The suspect is described to police as a being middle-aged, white with facial hair, at the time of the incident he was wearing a grey jacket, black pants and black shoes.

 Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Criminal Investigation Division are asking anyone with information about this incident to call police at 902-490-5020.
