UPDATE: With the assistance of uniformed officers, members of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division executed a search warrant at a Richmond Street address overnight. A 39-year-old woman from Halifax was arrested. She remains in custody to attend Provincial Court to face a charge of Aggravated Assault.
On June 14 at 4:30 a.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to the 5200 block of Richmond Street, Halifax to a report of a woman who had been stabbed.
Officers located a 33-years-old woman. She was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation by the General Investigative Section of the integrated Criminal Investigation Division is ongoing.
