Police investigating shooting GO#20-68092 GO#20-68097

On June 16 at 8:27 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to multiple reports of gun shots in the area of Lower Water Street and Sackville Street, Halifax. Officers were on scene quickly but were unable to locate a victim or a suspect in the area. Shortly after, a 17-year-old was dropped off at the QEII Health Sciences Centre suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Officers located a vehicle believed to be involved in this incident in the 600 block of Main Street, Dartmouth and took two suspects in custody.

The investigation in its early stages and Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are continuing the investigation. No charges have been laid.
