On August 1 at approximately 5:50 p.m., Halifax Regional Police were called to an armed robbery that had just occurred in the 1800 block of Hollis Street, Halifax. Three men wearing masks entered the business with a firearm. They took cash and merchandise before leaving and fleeing in a car. There were no injuries.
Witnesses were interviewed and a car was located on Olive Street in Bedford. Police contained and searched the residence. Three suspects were arrested. Two youths and one man will appear in court at a later date to face the robbery and weapons charges.
