Motion:
That Halifax and West Community Council:
1. Approve the proposed amending development agreement for an extension to the date of commencement of construction, which shall be substantially of the same form as contained in
Attachment C of the staff report dated March 24, 2020; and
2. Require the amending development agreement be signed by the property owner within 120 days or any extension thereof granted by Council on request of the property owner, from the date of final
approval by Council and any other bodies as necessary, including applicable appeal periods, whichever is later, otherwise this approval will be void and obligations arising hereunder shall be at
an end.

Motion:
That Halifax and West Community Council:
1. Approve the proposed development agreement to allow a 12-storey mixed-use development at 3514 Joseph Howe Drive, Halifax, which shall be substantially of the same form as set out in Attachment C of the staff report dated February 12, 2020.
2. Require the development agreement be signed by the property owner within 120 days, or any extension thereof granted by Council on request of the property owner, from the date of final approval by Council and any other bodies as necessary, including applicable appeal periods, whichever is later; otherwise this approval will be void and obligations arising hereunder shall be at an end.
7.1.3 Implementation of North End ‘AAA’ Bikeway Phase One and West End ‘AAA’ Bikeway (NEWEB) [PDF]
Motion:
That Halifax and West Community Council recommend that Halifax Regional Council:
1. Approve the implementation of 2.4km of bicycle facilities and related changes to the right of way along the North End All Ages and Abilities (AAA) Bikeway route Phase One between North Ridge Road and Bloomfield Street as described in the ‘Discussion’ section of the staff report dated July 28, 2020.
2. Approve the implementation of 2.0km of bicycle facilities and related changes to the right of way along the West End All Ages and Abilities (AAA) Bikeway route between Windsor Street, Bayers Road, and the West End Mall as described in the ‘Discussion’ section.
