Police investigate robbery GO#20-103156

On September 3 at 8:45 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a robbery at the Wilson’s Esso on the Go located at 174 Ochterloney Street in Dartmouth. A man entered the store and produced a knife. He demanded the clerk give him cartons of cigarettes and the money from the cash register. The suspect was last seen leaving on foot towards Prince Albert Road. The employee was not injured during the incident.

The suspect is described to police as a white man with a stocky build, tattoos around his eyes, and on his hands. He was wearing a camo jacket, burgundy hoodie, khaki pants, and light gray sneakers.

The investigation is in its early stages and Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are conducting the investigation. Updates on the investigation will be provided when available.
