Police Investigate Vehicle Collision - Dartmouth

At 7:42 p.m. Halifax Regional Police, HRM Fire & Emergency Service and Emergency Health Services responded to a report of a single vehicle collision at Woodland Ave and Mic Mac Blvd, Dartmouth. Callers reported the collision of a single vehicle into a utility pole.  Alcohol is believed to be a factor and there are several injured occupants.   

Investigators from Patrol, Accident Investigation Section and the Forensic Identification Section are conducting the investigation, which is in the early stages.  

UPDATE: 

Officers confirmed the vehicle had three adults, a 28 year old male driver and two female passengers, 31 and 23 years old.  The driver sustained serious, but non-life threatening injuries.  The two female passengers sustained minor non-life threatening injuries.  All three were transported to the hospital.  

Investigators from Patrol, Accident Investigation Section and the Forensic Identification Section are conducting the investigation, which is in the early stages.  Impaired driving charges are pending.    

Traffic Blocked: Just before 1:00 a.m., traffic on Woodland Ave and Mic Mac Blvd was blocked.
