On November 8 at 11:41 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a car exploding and on fire in the 0-100 block of Lynette Road, Halifax. When police arrived, the vehicle was fully engulfed.
Halifax Regional Fire & Emergency responded as well and have extinguished the fire. There were no reported injuries or further damage to other property. The vehicle was unoccupied at the time of the fire.
Observations noted on scene led police to believe the fire is suspicious. The investigation is in its initial stages and ongoing.
