Police investigate an assault with a weapon GO# 20-141662

On December 1 at 3:29 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of two injured youths at the Halifax Transit Terminal on Nantucket Avenue in Dartmouth. Patrol officers located the victims, one of who had sustained a small puncture wound that is non-life-threatening. Officers learned that an unknown man attacked one of the victims without warning, then attacked the second victim and produced a knife. The suspect fled on foot prior to police arrival. The victims were transported to the hospital. 

The suspect is described to police as being a white man between 20-25-years-old with a thin build, short brown hair, wearing a green hooded shirt and camouflage pants.

Investigators with Patrol and the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are conducting the investigation, which is ongoing.
