Police have charged a man in relation to a break and enter and theft of a motor vehicle that occurred in Bedford last week.
On February 15 police received a report that a man had broken into a parking garage on Amesbury Gate in Bedford and took an antique car. The vehicle was located later that day parked in the 6900 block of Mumford Road in Halifax and returned to the owner.
On February 23 Central Division patrol members arrested the man without incident in the area of the 1900 block of Oxford Street in Halifax.
Neal Ryan John Conroy, 42, of Dartmouth is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court today to face charges of:
- Break and enter
- Theft of automobile
- Theft under $5000
- Possession of stolen property over $5000
- Possession of stolen property under $5000
- Breach of undertaking
- Breach of release order
