Police investigate attempted robbery #GO 21-24240

On February 26 at 5 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to an attempted robbery at the Royal Bank of Canada, located at 40 Tacoma Drive, Dartmouth. Two men entered the bank, demanded money and indicated that they had a firearm. No weapons were observed. The suspects left on foot without receiving money. They were last seen running towards the Sobeys on Tacoma Drive.  There were no injuries reported as a result from this incident.

Patrol officers and investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are currently on scene. They are completing the preliminary investigation and actively searching for the men. The suspects are described to police as two men who were wearing sunglasses, dark masks, dark hoodies and dark pants. One suspect was carrying a red GoodLife Fitness kit bag.
