Missing Person reported on March 4: Found safe

Update: The 40-year-old woman reported missing on March 4, 2021 has been safely located. We would like to thank the public for their concern and assistance.

Halifax Regional Police are continuing the search for a patient who went missing from a Halifax area hospital shortly after 5:40 p.m. on Thursday, March 4.

Miranda Mason-Lamont was last seen during that time by staff, leaving in an unknown direction. 

Miranda is described to police as a white female, 40 years-old, 5 feet tall, small build, wearing a black down jacket with pants and boots of an unknown colour.

There is no information to suggest that Miranda has met with foul play, however, police are concerned for her well-being.
