Earlier this week, on Wednesday and Thursday, Halifax Regional Police issued 102 tickets for speeding and other motor vehicle-related offences.
Members from the HRP Traffic Unit issued 102 summary offence tickets: 38 for speeding and 64 for other offences including no insurance, expired plates, no license and using cell phones while driving.
Officers spent time in the Herring Cove Road and Purcells Cove Road areas of Halifax as well as the Dartmouth Road area in Bedford in relation to community concerns.
In a continued effort to address traffic safety issues and educate citizens on the rules of the road, our officers focus on speed enforcement. We all have a role to play in keeping our roads safe.
