Police respond to weapons call GO#21-63690

On May 30 at 12:50 a.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a weapons complaint in the 2800 block of Isleville Street, Halifax. Multiple callers reported a man pointing a pellet gun at people while walking on the street. Patrol officers quickly secured the area and located the arrested a 45-year-old man without incident. Officers seized a pellet gun. No one was injured as a result of this incident.  

The 45-year-old man from Halifax has been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and will appear in a Halifax court on a later date.
