Update: Threats call
Police have cleared the addresses in the 100 block of Coronation Avenue in Halifax and the 100 block of Main Street in Dartmouth. Investigators have determined there was no threat to public safety. The investigation is ongoing.

We thank the public for their cooperation.
At approximately 3:40 a.m., police responded to two buildings located in Halifax and Dartmouth in relation to threats made against the locations. Officers are on scene at addresses in the 100 block of coronation Avenue in Halifax and the 100 Block of Main Street in Dartmouth. Officers are on scene and searching the area with members of the Forensic Identification Section. At this time we do not believe there to be a threat to public safety, however we are asking the public to remain away from the area to allow for the investigation to take place.
