Police investigating two school Break & Enters GO#21-150935 & 21-150938

On December 5 at approximately 2:35 a.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a commercial intrusion alarm at Halifax Central Junior High located at 1787 Preston Street, Halifax. Once on scene, police noted signs of a Break & Enter where entry was gained. The interior was searched with no persons located.

Minutes later at approximately 2:40 a.m., a second commercial alarm was reported at Sir Charles Tupper School located at 1930 Cambridge, Halifax. Police contained the area and searched the interior with the assistance of a police service dog. At the time of the search, no suspects have been located.

Both matters are currently under investigation.
