Halifax Regional Police are currently assisting to divert traffic at a road closure near the intersection of Dentith Road and Herring Cove Road, Halifax.
A water main break has caused a large hole in the road. Herring Cove Road is closed in both directions between Dentith Road and Sussex Street.
Motorists can detour via either Sussex Street or Dentith Road to the Old Sambro Road to avoid the closure. Crews from Halifax Water are currently working on the repairs.
