Halifax Regional Police responded to a barricaded person call in Halifax.
At approximately 8 p.m. on February 17, 2022, Halifax Regional Police attended a residence on Titus Street in Halifax to arrest a man in relation to an outstanding break and enter file. A man retreated into the residence and refused to surrender to police.
The residence was contained and there were no weapons involved in this incident. Emergency Response Team members were utilized to execute the warrant to apprehend the man sought for the break and enter charges. The man is currently in police custody and will attend Halifax Provincial Court on February 18, 2022.
The investigation is in its preliminary stages and further information will be released when available.
