Police investigate stabbing GO# 22-57286

Boland Road / Cairn Street, Dartmouth

Police have cleared and are no longer on scene at the above location. This concerns an earlier release made this evening.

The victim is in hospital where he remains, for what are described as non life threatening edged weapon injuries.

At this time there are no suspects and no description is available.

The matter is under investigation by the Criminal Investigative Division.

Police investigate stabbing.

Police are on scene at Boland Road and Cairn Street in Dartmouth regarding a weapons complaint.

At 6:55 p.m. police received a call to report a person was injured by another man with an edged weapon.

A number of police officers are on scene completing the investigation. There is no threat to public safety.  We ask members of the public to use alternate routes and avoid the area of Boland Road and Cairn Street in both directions to allow officers to conduct the search and investigation.  

A man was located on scene and determined to be the victim. He has been transported by EHS to the hospital with what are undetermined injuries at this point in time.
