The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that Halifax Transit will be offering free transit service on Fridays and free ferry service on Saturdays throughout the summer.
From Friday, July 1 to Wednesday August 31, 2022 – transit service will be free of charge all day, every Friday for conventional bus, Access-A-Bus, regional express service and the ferry.
Alderney ferry will also be free all day, every Saturday during this period.

La municipalité régionale d’Halifax informe les résidents que Halifax Transit offrira un service de transport en commun gratuit les vendredis et un service de traversier gratuit les samedis tout au long de l’été.
Du vendredi 1er juillet au mercredi 31 août 2022, le service de transport en commun sera gratuit toute la journée, tous les vendredis pour les autobus conventionnels, l’Access-A-Bus, le Service Express régional et le traversier.
Le traversier Alderney sera également gratuit toute la journée, tous les samedis pendant cette période.
