Police investigate robbery
Police are investigating a robbery that occurred earlier today in Halifax.
At approximately 3:15 p.m. police responded to a robbery at the Shoppers Drug Mart located at 6025 Almon Street. Two men entered the store, stole merchandise and then fled to a vehicle. Officers located the vehicle nearby and attempted to stop it, however the driver refused to stop. Officers did not attempt to pursue the vehicle out of concerns for public safety.
The first suspect is described as white, 5’5” tall and wearing a black tank top. The second suspect is described as white and was wearing a ball cap. The vehicle is described as a black Dodge Ram pickup truck.
