This week the Halifax Regional Police Traffic Unit issued 151 tickets in relation to speeding and other motor vehicle-related offences.
Monday to Thursday, members of the HRP Traffic Unit issued 151 summary offence tickets: 35 for speeding, 32 for no insurance, 20 for using a cellphone while driving and 64 for other offences including, operating an unregistered vehicle, failing to obey traffic signs, faulty equipment, invalid inspections and driving with a revoked license.
We all have a role to play in keeping our roads safe. If you see someone driving dangerously, report it to police by calling 911.
