Police investigate shooting
Members of the Patrol Division and the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are investigating an injured person incident that occurred during the early morning hours in Dartmouth.
At approximately 1:09 a.m. on September 24, 2022, police responded to a report of a man with a gunshot wound in the 40 block of Hastings Drive. Officers located a 23-year-old man with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. The man was transported to hospital.
Police remain on scene in the area. Officers do not believe that this is a random incident. This matter is in the early stages of the investigation and limited details are available at this time.
