Police arrested a man earlier this week in relation to three outstanding warrants for incidents that occurred this year in the Halifax region.
On March 8 at approximately 7:20 p.m. officers from the Quick Response Unit observed a vehicle without a license plate or temporary permit and conducted a traffic stop. Officers determined that the man had provided a false name. The man was subsequently identified and found to have three outstanding warrants, two for failing to appear in court and one in relation to a theft investigation.
Ryan William Colbourne, 25, was scheduled to appear in court yesterday to face the following charges:
- Theft under $5,000
- Possession of stolen property under $5,000
- Obstruction
- Fail to appear in court (x2)
