Police have charged a man in relation to a robbery that occurred last Friday night in Dartmouth.
On March 24 at approximately 10:20 p.m. East Division patrol officers and a K9 team responded to a robbery that had just occurred at the Needs Convenience store located at 275 Baker Drive. A man came into the store and threatened the employees before fleeing on foot with a quantity of cash.
The suspect was arrested without incident a short distance away.
Justin Allen Wilcox, 37, was scheduled to appear in Dartmouth provincial court yesterday to face the following charges:
- Robbery
- Failing to comply with an undertaking
- Failing to comply with a release order
