Police Investigate Single Vehicle Collision - Bedford
At 5:35 p.m., Halifax Regional Police, HRM Fire & Emergency Service responded to a report of a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 102 at Exit 3B, near Hammond Plains Road, Bedford. A cement truck was not able to stop on the exit ramp and crossed over to the oncoming traffic ramp, striking the guard rail and tipping the truck onto its side. The driver was the lone occupant and was not injured. The investigation is in the early stages.
Traffic Blocked: Traffic is blocked from entering the Highway 102 at Exit 3, inbound to Halifax from Hammonds Plains Road, until the cement truck is removed.
