Halifax Regional Police responded to a weapons call in Dartmouth earlier this morning.
At approximately 12:48 a.m., police received a call of possible gun shots, officers arrived on scene in the area of the 100 block of Caledonia Road, Dartmouth, and located indications of a residence being shot at.
Members of the Integrated General Investigation Section and the Forensic Identification Section are on scene investigating the matter. Traffic on Caledonia Road is being restricted.
The investigation is in its preliminary stages and further information will be released when available.
