UPDATE: Police have cleared the 3600 block of Dutch Village Road; the street was blocked for several hours in relation to an ongoing investigation. There were no threats to public safety.
There is no more information to release at this time as the investigation is ongoing.

Halifax Regional Police are on scene in the 3600 block of Dutch Village Rd., Halifax for a report of a weapons complaint.
There will be a noticeable increased police presence in the area. Requesting citizens refrain from going to this area. The street is closed to the public access.
