Police are investigating a fatal fire that occurred in Dartmouth early this morning.
At approximately 4:10 a.m. officers along with Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency responded to a structure fire in the 100 block of Portland Street. A man was found deceased in one of the apartments.
The investigation is in the early stages and investigators are asking anyone with information to call police at 902-490-5020. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca or by using the P3 Tips app.
