Motion:
That the Transportation Standing Committee accept the staff report dated January 9, 2024 and receive a presentation.

13.1.2 Temporary Pedestrian Travel Paths Through Work Sites [PDF]
Motion:
That the Transportation Standing Committee recommend that Halifax Regional Council direct the CAO to update the design and construction guidelines for accessibility to include temporary conditions in the exterior built environment.

13.2 ACTIVE TRANSPORTATION ADVISORY COMMITTEE
13.2.1 CNIB Halifax: Cycling Infrastructure Guidelines [PDF]   
Motion: 
That the Transportation Standing Committee direct the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to prepare a staff report to consider examining and expanding upon the recommendations outlined in the “Cycling Infrastructure and People with Sight Loss – Design Challenges and Opportunities at Transit Stops Across Canada” report when installing cycling infrastructure.

That the Transportation Standing Committee:
1.    Adopt the recommendations as outlined in the private and confidential report dated December 20, 2023; and 
2.    Direct that the private and confidential report dated December 20, 2023 be maintained private and confidential.
