Update: At approximately 11 a.m., Portland Street has been reopened. The electrical lines and roadway have been cleared.

At 9:10 a.m., Halifax Regional Police received a report of a Motor Vehicle Collision where a vehicle struck a utility pole in the 300 block of Portland Street, Dartmouth, knocking power out in the area. No one was injured. Electrical lines are down blocking the roads.
