Search warrant conducted
Police arrested five people after a search in Halifax earlier this morning.
Shortly before 5 a.m. this morning, investigators with the Guns and Gangs Unit of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division along with the members of the Emergency Response Team and Central Division patrol officers, conducted a search of a residence on Allan Street in Halifax in relation to an ongoing weapons investigation.
Five people were taken into custody, and property in relation to the investigation was located and seized from the residence however no weapons were located. The investigation is ongoing and charges are anticipated.
