At 7:50 p.m. yesterday evening, Halifax Regional Police responded to reports of a non-responsive man in the water in the area of the 1200 block of Lower Water Street in Halifax. Officers entered the water and provided medical care to the 47-year-old man with EHS and Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency. The man was taken by ambulance to the hospital where he is receiving medical attention. The matter is still under investigation at this time.
