The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that Ochterloney Street will be closed this weekend between Victoria Road and Dundas Street.
The street closure is required in order to facilitate the installation of sanitary, water, and stormwater laterals for the Apartments at Lotus Point construction project.
Ochterloney will be closed from Saturday at 8 a.m. until Sunday at 7 p.m. Local traffic and emergency vehicles will have access at all times. Traffic safety personnel will be on site to direct motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists around the worksite, as needed.
Motorists should expect delays in the area and are asked to take alternative routes.
