At 8:20 p.m. on Sat. February 8, two pedestrians were crossing the street in a marked crosswalk near 7000 Mumford Rd. when a Metro Transit bus was turning right onto Mumford Rd. from the bus terminal. One of the pedestrians, a 17-year-old girl, was struck on the side of her upper body by the front of the bus. The pedestrians returned to their residence and called the police. She was assessed by EHS. The collision is still under investigation at this time.
