Members responded to a fire at the rear loading area of Shoppers Drug Mart located at 5524 Spring Garden Road. Video of the area revealed that a female suspect deliberately set a pile of cardboard boxes on fire. A vehicle, which was parked in the loading area, was moved prior to fire attending and extinguishing the flames. Minor cosmetic damage to the building was the extent of the damage.
The female suspect was arrested a short distance from the scene. A 21-year-old female was charged and will be making a court appearance later today.
