The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that road construction will begin Monday and will continue until Sunday, Dec. 17, on Massachusetts Avenue near the MacKay Bridge on-ramp.
Crews will be on site from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. to facilitate concrete repairs to the overhead rail bridge.
There will be lane drops in place on Monday Oct. 30 and Tuesday, Oct. 31, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Two-way traffic will be maintained at all other times.
Motorists are asked to use an alternative route whenever possible.
The municipality appreciates your patience while this work is completed.
