UPDATE: Investigators have completed their preliminary investigation and have determined the death is no longer deemed suspicious.

Halifax Regional Police are currently on scene in the 0-100 block of Joseph Young Street in Dartmouth for a suspicious death. At approximately 5:50 p.m., EHS and police responded to an unresponsive adult in a residence. Patrol members, as well as members of the Forensic Identification Section, are currently onscene. The investigation is in its early stages and no further information is available at this time.
