Update: Work will continue Thursday (Nov. 16) from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that road construction will continue today on Young Avenue between Inglis Street and Point Pleasant Drive.
Crews will be on site from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Due to the nature of the work, there will be no parking on either side of Young Avenue and vehicles can be towed. Signage will be in place to indicate the no-parking zones.
There will be lane drops while work is underway. Motorists are asked to use an alternative route whenever possible.
The municipality appreciates your patience while this work is completed.
