At 12:53 p.m. on January 3, police received a call that a man had made threats against persons known to him and was planning to attend a business on Kempt Road in Halifax and was possibly in possession of a firearm.
The 30-year-old man was located at an address on Laurie Lane in Porter’s Lake and arrested without incident.
There was no firearm located. The man will be charged with uttering threats and released to attend court at a later date.
