The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that all comfort centres have now closed.

The Emergency Management Office (EMO) will continue to work with Nova Scotia Power to determine a need for further locations. No locations are scheduled to reopen at this time.

If a comfort centre reopens, the decision will be communicated publicly.

Please note, Shore Road has now reopened to traffic.

Halifax Transit has returned to a regular weekend schedule.

Most other municipal services have returned to a normal schedule. For those living in areas still without power, please contact your recreation facility to ensure it has reopened and programming is on schedule.
