Drugs stolen from hospital

Halifax Regional Police is warning the public about potentially dangerous drugs that were stolen yesterday from the Dickson Centre on South Park Street in Halifax.

On the morning of September 2, the Nova Scotia Health Authority contacted police after an emergency drug box, containing a variety of cardiac drugs, went missing. Many of these drugs can be dangerous if used inappropriately/aren’t taken under the supervision of a physician.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about this theft to contact police at 902-490-5016. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca or texting a tip - Tip 202 + your message to 274637.
