Robbery GO#18-40476

At approximately 3:10 a.m. on Saturday, March 17, Halifax Regional Police responded to a robbery at the Ultramar located at 2816 Gottingen Street. A man entered the store, threatened the clerk with a hammer and demanded cash and cigarettes. The man obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes before leaving the area on foot. The man is described as being approximately 30-years-old, 5’10” tall, thin and with a scruffy beard. He was wearing a black heavy winter coat with a sport logo on the front at the time of the incident. The man was also wearing gloves and had his face partially covered with a scarf. The clerk was not injured during the incident.
