At approximately 7:50 p.m. on March 23, Halifax Regional Police arrested a 34-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman during a traffic stop in the 100 block of Lahey Road in Dartmouth. The man was wanted on an outstanding Canada-wide warrant. A search of the vehicle turned up a loaded firearm. The man and woman are facing numerous weapons related charges and are being held in custody. Both will be making a court appearance at Dartmouth Provincial Court on Monday.
